Interval Estimation of Generalized Inverted Exponential Distribution under Records Data: A Comparison Perspective

In this paper, the problem of interval estimation is considered for parameters generalized inverted exponential distribution. Based on upper record values, different pivotal quantities are proposed and associated exact confidence intervals constructed unknown model reliability indices, respectively. For comparison purposes, conventional likelihood based approximate also provided by using observed Fisher information matrix. Moreover, prediction future records procedures as well. Finally, numerical studies carried out to investigate compare performances methods a real data analysis presented illustrative purposes.
